• He/She supports and assists the purchasing team to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

• Diligently tracking open orders and manufacturing orders (MOs) in accordance with established procedures and processes. He/she is also responsible for providing administrative support.
  

Tasks

• Follows the production schedule to ensure that required products
  are available;
  

• Verify the accuracy of arrival dates of products on order and backlogs;
  

• Correspond with suppliers to send and track purchase orders;

• Follow up on purchase orders and back orders;

• Manage cost adjustments on purchase orders and delivery dates (order confirmations);
  

• Coordinate returns and track credits;

• Prepare and distribute production orders according to production schedule and previous deadlines;

• Modify and close production orders;

• Process production reports.
