Here are the challenges to be met:

You will be called upon to manage the inspection process of incoming parts, non-conformity with suppliers and to verify control points on production lines and to support the operational processes related to the quality control department.

Your main responsabilities will be:

  • Implementation of a computerized quality system;
  • Contribute to the definition of quality standards;
  • Manage quality control files (inspection, non-conformance, implementation of corrective action);
  • Support engineering teams in managing quality issues during product development;
  • Work within the development teams of new platforms and prepare the requirements of the quality component before the production launch;
  • PPC control of the first productions;
  • Present progress reports on the advancement of projects;
  • All other related tasks in connection with the position.


Do you have the necessary requirements?

  • Possess a DEC in engineering or science and/or DEC or DEP in machining / sheet metal / welding and/or at least 2 years experience in quality and/or operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience in quality in the transportation industry (heavy vehicle, trailer or automotive industry);
  • Knowledge of the Office suite;
  • Dimensional inspection (90% tape measure, 10% vernier and other);
  • Plan reading;
  • Understanding of geometric tolerancing;
  • Knowledge of ERP system (a plus);
  • Knowledge of welded assembly (a plus);
  • Knowledge of sheet metal (a plus);
  • French spoken and written;
  • Functional English.
